What are you doing for Electronic Records Day? This year, Electronic Records Day will be celebrated on Friday, October 8, 2021. The day is designed to raise awareness among state government agencies, the general public, related professional organizations, and other stakeholders about the crucial role electronic records play in their world.


You can participate in raising awareness about electronic records by: 

  • Spread the word through social media channels.
  • Do a special post on your blog.
  • Engage the public in a presentation on risks to digital content.
  • Start a dialog with other entities in your area that work with e-records on a daily basis.
  • Host a workshop on good digital preservation practices.
  • Talk about E-Records Day on Twitter using #ERecsDay or #ElectronicRecordsDay
