Viewshare.org was a free web application for generating and customizing views (interactive maps, timelines, facets, tag clouds) that allow users to interact with and explore cultural heritage digital collections.
Viewshare was retired on March 20, 2018 by the Library of Congress. The source code has been posted if you want to make your own views using the code.

In addition, it is known that Viewshare is a Software as a Service (SaaS) and is hosted by Rackspace in San Antonio, Texas. Viewshare can import data in the following forms: 1) simple rectangular Excel spreadsheets or csv files; 2) XML MODS; 3) Dublin Core Data from an OAI-PMH endpoint; 4) JSON data available via a public URL; or 5) a CONTENTdm database.
