Description: These standards shall be read together with Public Records Policy 04: Electronic Records Management to ensure a full understanding of the CT Office of the Public Records Administrator (OPRA) and CT State Archives (SA) joint policy regarding (1) the preservation and authentication of electronic records, and (2) the retention and disposition of electronic records. These standards shall be read together with Public Records Standards 04-2: Digital Imaging to ensure a full understanding of the OPRA and SA joint policy regarding the use of digital imaging technology for the reformatting of analog public records; and regarding the retention and disposition of original and digitized records.
