The National Archives developed the Capstone approach as an alternative to traditional records management practices when dealing with email and as a way for archivists to handle the overwhelming amount of email that needs to be managed. As more and more people work to implement the Capstone model, there are many questions that come up about how to best put it into practice. In this webinar, three presenters will talk about their implementation of a Capstone approach, including their successes and their challenges. They will also talk about their experience in providing guidance on the Capstone approach to other government agencies. Join us if you’ve ever wondered how Capstone works in practice or if you have questions about how the Capstone approach looks in an actual Archival setting.

Presenters: Brian Brown (City of Portland Archives and Records Center), Elizabeth Perkes (Utah State Archives), and Maria McCashion (New York State Archives)
