Guidance for Policy Regarding Agency Long Term Records in Electronic Format

The Pennsylvania State Archives has issued the Policy Regarding Agency Long-Term Records In Electronic Format. This guidance supplements that policy which sets rules allowing agencies to keep textual records with a retention or ten years or longer but not archival in electronic format. The document gives current best practices to assist an office to maintain records electronically and is numbered along with the policy.
