Chapters include: Applying effective records management practices (life cycles etc); Retention and Disposition Schedules; Filing Practices; Records Controls; Filing Storage Equipment; Reformatting and/or Duplicating Records; Procedures for Destroying Public Records; Storing, Moving and Transferring Records; Records Preservation; Preparing for Disaster; and Electronic Records. Appendix include: records survey form, inventory form, transmittal form, authorization to destroy form, and transfer form.
