Guidelines for the Preservation of Digital Heritage

This document offers general and technical guidelines for the preservation and continuing accessibility of the world's digital heritage.  It adopts a principles approach that can serve as a checklist of issues and possibilities that repositories need to take into account.  The guide is aimed at preservation program managers and can be useful to libraries, archives, museums, research institutes, data archives, publishers, community groups, etc. This document is intended to be a companion to the Draft Charter on the Preservation of Digital Heritage.
