State Historical Records Advisory Boards (SHRABs): A Statistical Report (March 2013)

This report contains data about State Historical Records Advisory Boards (SHRABs) collected as part of the broader Survey of State Archives and Records Management Programs conducted by the Council of State Archives (CoSA) from August through October 2012.

SERI Phase I Report  (June 2012)

In 2011, each state and territorial archives and records management program completed a survey about its existing electronic records program, then participated in extended follow-up telephone interviews with CoSA's SERI Steering Committee members. The data collected allowed CoSA to develop a composite nationwide profile of state archives' efforts to create, fund, and maintain state electronic records programs.

The State of State Records: A Status Report on State Archives and Records Management Programs in the United States (January 2007)

The report presents a comprehensive overview of state archives and records management (ARM) programs, drawing on the results of the FY2004 and FY2006 CoSA surveys of state archives and records management programs. Profiles of each state ARM program are included. A Blue Ribbon Panel convened in October 2006 to discuss the findings in the above report and make recommendations on how to improve state archives and records management programs.
