National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS)
Another of CoSA’s formal ACCESS partners, NASS serves as a medium for the exchange of information between states and fosters cooperation in the development of public policy. The association has key initiatives in the areas of elections and voting, state business services, and state heritage/archives, and shares CoSA’s interests in properly created and managed government records and information.
National Governors Association (NGA)
For many years, CoSA and NGA have collaborated on a best practices manual for governors and their staffs about their archival and records management responsibilities. As a formal ACCESS project partner, NGA and CoSA will update best practices documents and participate in key NGA training activities.

COSLA provides leadership on issues of common concern and national interest; to further state library agency relationships with federal government and national organizations; and to initiate cooperative action for the improvement of library services to the people of the United States.
