Event Description
ShopTalk with Family Search: Connecting with Your Community through Records Access and Preservation
When:
Dec 1, 2022 from 03:00 PM to 04:00 PM (ET)
Join a conversation with FamilySearch as they explain how their Free document digitization and Free online access services for your patrons will help expand digital access to your historical genealogically significant records. Learn about where we have preserved records previously, and how we can help you today. FamilySearch digitizes microfilm (we just completed digitizing over 2.4 million rolls of our own microfilm last year), books, and papers. We will also share new ideas on how we can work even more effectively to drive on-line traffic to your websites. We are interested in working with you and your local communities as partners to help preserve records. Just like your local SHRAB programs we could help you stretch your dollars to expand your digitization and preservation efforts.
