Summary:
The Secretary of State, Maine State Archives is seeking candidates for an Archives Imaging Specialist position within the Archives Services Division. Responsibilities include: the production of still and motion pictures, complex graphic designs, desktop publishing, and a variety of presentation materials for governmental purposes. The position will digitize large and fragile state records, documents, and objects having archival, museum, or library value, and directs and/or performs the production, processing, and distribution of a variety of printed, photographic, and electronic media. The work often requires the application of special photographic or digital photo reproduction methods and techniques. A variety of specialized software and electronic media and equipment are often utilized. This position's work schedule is Monday through Friday.
