    • Join us for the March CoSA member webinar on Attracting Candidates to State Archives jobs. This will be an interactive session with our presenters, Our presenters have requested attendees have cameras and microphones on if possible and we want to encourage discussion among the attendees.

      Why should I attend? To get ideas on how to attract the best candidates to your job postings. As an Archives Staff member, this is an opportunity to review the process and how you might assist from your level.

      Hiring in State Archives: Insights on Attracting Candidates

      Finding candidates for archives positions at State Archives can be challenging. This collaborative session will feature two iSchool representatives, Meredith Lowe from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Kristina Intinarelli from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. They will share their insights and observations about what current students and recent graduates are looking for in their job searches, how to engage with current students and job seekers, and what might barriers exist (whether real or perceived) in state archives hiring. In addition, Meredith will discuss Archives Gig (archivesgig.com) and what trends she is seeing there.
