    The Archives of Michigan is hiring a permanent, full-time government records archivist. This new position works with state agencies and local governments to appraise and accession records and facilitate public records access. The government records archivist conducts fieldwork and training across the state to assist state agencies and local government units in the care, management, and access of public records. This position participates in the Save Michigan History federal grant project and contributes to the development of public records retention schedules and instructional training materials for state and local government offices.
