The Archives of Michigan is now accepting applications for an arrangement and description archivist. This position contributes to the daily operation of the Archives Collections Unit by arranging and describing archival/historical records (both paper and digital), running prepared scripts to ingest and attach metadata to digital records in the Preservica preservation system, and working with a team on implementation and continued operation of the ArchivesSpace collections management system. The individual will also participate in field work projects, provide reference services for the public and serve on archives section teams.
