The attached html is an adaptation of another filtered table I created to facilitate searching our repository. This doesn't have links to pages and doesn't execute a search based on variables because that isn't necessary. The javascript that makes it run is at the bottom of the html file.
How it works: it maps each cell in a given row to a variable which is also mapped to a form of either free-text entry or drop-down. When the text of a form section gets updated, if the content of the cell in question doesn't at least partially match the row gets set to display=none.
Problem: very large tables take a while, not fixable since you have to load the table to manipulate it.
