The CoSA 2024 Digital Preservation Capability Maturity Model Self-Assessment Survey was administered between February and May. Thirty-four states, one territory, and the District of Columbia completed the survey. This report updates results from 2012, 2015, and 2022 and serves as a capstone to CoSA's IMLS-funded BACKER project. CoSA will utilize this data to target outreach, training, and advocacy efforts to strengthen electronic records management and digital preservation at the state and territorial government level.
