Duke Data Accessioner Resource Guide (MNHS)

A user guide written as a basic method for using the Duke Data Accessioner. Duke Data Accessioner was created for and by the Duke University Libraries, the Duke Data Accessioner can be used to transfer files from one location to another to assist with archival processing. Using the adaptors for DROID and JHOVE and the metadata managers associated with the Accessioner, file level metadata is captured and recorded in an XML file. The Accessioner identifies file formats, validates them, and if using the Duke PREMIS metadata manager, records the MD5 hash value for each file. Links to additional information are provided in the guide.
