Blog post that describes how curation in the cloud uses scripts within an institutional repository setting. Tools utilized include Brunnhilde, ClamAV, Siegfried and BagIt. The general workflow is described in four main steps. A link to the scripts Grand Valley State University created can be found on Github and is provided in the post.
Script It! is a series of blog posts published by the Society of American Archivists Electronic Records Section blog, bloggERS. The series includes how-to posts written by archivists on shell scripting in different operating systems, using the command line, coding languages such as Python and Ruby, and incorporating open-source tools like Bagger and BitCurator into custom programs. Other topics include managing electronic records using scripts, learning to code, and "applying computational thinking to digital archives".
