The State of State Records: A Statistical Report on State Archives and Records Management Programs in the United States

(January 2007)

The report presents a comprehensive overview of state archives and records management (ARM) programs, drawing on the results of the FY2004 and FY2006 CoSA surveys of state archives and records management programs. Profiles of each state ARM program are included. A Blue Ribbon Panel convened in October 2006 to discuss the findings in the above report and make recommendations on how to improve state archives and records management programs.
