Join the CoSA Advocacy Committee for a discussion about Advocacy and Archives. Advocacy Chair Catherine J. Newsome, Louisiana State Archivist will share tips from her recent work with the Louisiana State Legislative Session. Bryan Whitledge, Public Service Librarian at Central Michigan University and Coordinator for Archives on the Hill will discuss the Archives on the Hill advocacy initiative, including some history and future plans. We will also hear from several CoSA members who participated in this year’s Archives on the Hill. Come prepared to learn or share. There will be time dedicated to group discussion on your own advocacy journey.
