Hello, Colleagues --
As we prepare to launch our Year-End Appeal next month, we'd like to invite you to reflect with us on several crucial achievements that are helping CoSA become a more sustainable future resource for our state and territory archives. Your interest and support have brought us to this point and we ask that you'll consider continuing your investment in CoSA to further secure its future.
With our values of relevancy, inclusiveness, and collaboration underpinning all our work, we revamped our membership dues program to more closely align with the programs and services we offer; we created a highly successful solo annual meeting based on member input; and our State Electronic Records Initiative (SERI) presented two dynamic virtual programs and have all but wrapped up one multi-year IMLS-funded project (BACKER).
We're very excited to share with you that 2025 will be a year of continued project implementation in the territories, renewed emphasis on revisioning our emergency preparedness training and resources, and greater consolidation of CoSA's internal operations. With major support from The Mellon Foundation, we are creating new systems to provide expanded and easier access to the data we routinely collect, to facilitate member communication, and to manage our programs and services.
This level of investment doesn't happen without the expertise and financial support of our members, allied colleagues, corporate partners, and friends. When you receive the appeal in a couple of weeks, we hope you'll be as generous as you can to help us meet our $5,000 goal. Of course, you don't need to wait until then – you can make a gift anytime here.
With gratitude,
Anne
