It's Off to Washington!
Feb 11, 2016
The CoSA Board heads to Washington, DC next month for its annual mid-year board meeting and stakeholder briefing. This is one of two opportunities the board meets face-to-face each year and it's a time to address current business as well as look ahead. Among the discussion topics are advocacy and our new role as a member of the National Coalition for History's policy board, and the long-term health and sustainability of the organization.
We'll also be meeting with David Ferriero, Archivist of the United States; Kathleen Williams, NHPRC Executive Director; and Dr. Kathryn Matthew, the new director of the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Rebecca Katz, newly appointed Public Records Administrator in the DC Office of Public Records, will also join us.
The stakeholder briefing is CoSA's opportunity to update representatives of allied associations and funders on our work, including SERI activities.
