to Home" Project is analyzing current conditions and will
attempt to determine what services, standards, and funding strategies
would work best to ensure the long-term preservation of and access
to local government records.

The State of State Records
CoSA conducted a comprehensive
FY2004 survey of state archives and records management programs
and an FY2006 survey of selected data.
CoSA convened a Blue Ribbon Panel in October 2006
to evaluate the findings of these surveys and develop the first "Report
Card" on the collective health of our nation's state archives
and records management programs
