Iowa City, Iowa. July 20, 2007—At its annual business meeting today in Kansas City, Missouri, the Council of State Archivists elected three new members to its Board of Directors.
Elected to serve three-year terms were:
Jodie A. Foley, State Archivist, Montana Historical Society
Wayne Moore, Assistant State Archivist, Tennessee State Library and Archives
Melanie Sturgeon, Director, History and Archives Division, Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records
The board then elected the following officers for 2007-2008:
President: Conley Edwards, State Archivist and Director, Archival and Records Management Services, The Library of Virginia
Vice President/President Elect: David Haury, Director,
Bureau of Archives and History,
Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission
Secretary/Treasurer: Chris
LaPlante, State Archivist,
Texas State Library and Archives
Retiring board members included Sandra

Michigan Historical Center; F.
Gerald Handfield,
State Archivist, Washington State Archives; and Roy H.
Tryon, State Archivist and Records Administrator,
