Archival Association Leadership Listserv (AALL)
The Archival Association
Leadership Listserv (AALL) is designed to facilitate timely
communications among all archival professional associations in the
United States at the national, regional, state, and local levels.
Established in January 2003, the AALL responds to a broad interest
in promoting cooperation and collaboration among all archival professional
associations in the U.S. In this collaborative spirit, the staff of
the Council of State Archivists
(CoSA) is managing the Listserv while the Society
of American Archivists (SAA) is serving as its host.
A subscription to the Archival Association Leadership
Listserv is available to the President (or equivalent) of each U.S.
archival professional association. The President is then invited to
select up to 4 additional individuals from among the association's
leaders to participate in the Listserv.
Individuals or organizations wishing to have messages
posted to the AALL should contact the list manager, Jenifer Burlis-Freilich,
Council of State Archivists at jbfreilich@statearchivists.org.
For additional information, see the AALL Terms of
Participation http://www.statearchivists.org/connections/AALLterms.htm

The members of these organizations often work directly
with archival materials or provide support to the repositories that
collect and make them available in some way. They share with archivists
an interest in raising awareness about the importance of historical
records and ensuring proper management, preservation, and use of our
nation's documentary heritage.
